Cecily Legler Strong is a famous American stand-up comedian and actor well-known as a prominent actor on 'Saturday Night Live'. Her acting career began in the theater, but she was interested in comedy after attending an improv training course when she was nine years old. She wanted to make the career of an actor but soon figured out she was meant for comedy and changed her focus to improv performances. Her career began aboard a cruise vessel, singing with the other performers of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong continued to perform at popular events such as Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest, and Virgin Daiquiri, an only female improv group. Her fame was boosted in 2012 when she was featured at the end of "Saturday Night Live" in the season 39. She was a guest cast member hosting Weekend Update with Seth Meyers at first as well as Colin Jost later. Her character in 'The Girls You Wish You Didn't Engage in Conversations with in a Party" was the most reminscent scene from her show. The same year, she made her movie debut in 'How To Sponsor A Uterus. She's spoken out about how women are treated on the screen as bikini models rather as strong characters in mainstream movies.
