Hayley Orrantia is she is an American performer, songwriter and actress. One of her most well-known roles can be Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, an American comedy show. However, she considers herself to be primarily a musician. Since she was 9 years of age, she began dabbling into music. By the time she turned 12, music became important enough to pursue a career in music. In 2013, she took up songwriting and recorded her first album. Since then there has been no looking back. Orrantia is a native of America, but has Hispanic ancestry. She is a native of Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English when a young girl and lived her life in the USA. She endeavours to preserve it by becoming fluent in Spanish and writing songs in the language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish which she recorded is a good illustration. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia received 4 "yeses" from the judges in the Seattle live audition stage after having been selected from her YouTube video submission.
