Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Then, she appeared on Broadway in various productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. She also released her first album, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden, in God's Small Acre, a drama from 1957. This movie was a big hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. During this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she also has made a name for herself as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on August 28 in 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
