Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author as well as a model and actress. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. She was raised by an artistic family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. She began as a photo assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films she was deemed one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her signature and hand-footprints engraved. The other films she has appeared on are The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw married three people.
